Vishay introduces the dual DPDT / quad SPDT analog switch featuring low-resistance of 0.37 Ω at 2.7 V in the compact 2.6 mm x 1.8 mm x 0.55 mm miniQFN16 package. Ideal for both analog and digital signal switching in space-constrained consumer, medical, and industrial applications. Vishay Siliconix's DG2788A delivers improved resistance flatness, signal integrity, parasitic capacitance, and bandwidth.
- Compared to competing devices:
- Low-resistance flatness (10 mΩ vs. 500 mΩ) results in improved THD of -100 dB
- 70% lower parasitic capacitance results in over 3x higher -3 dB bandwidth
- 5 V operation, achieves resistance values below 0.5 Ω in smaller package
- All switches conduct equally well in both directions and can be used as multiplexers and de-multiplexers
- Supports > 80 MHz rail to rail pulses with > 200 mA load current, which is ideal for precision pulse width modulation power loads in designs such as shape-memory alloy (SMA) actuators
