APR34150 High-Efficiency, Secondary-Side Synchrono

Diodes' APR34150 combine an N-MOSFET with an optimized driver circuit for synchronous rectification (SR). The APR34150 provides a high-performance solution for 5 V output discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) power supplies. All devices integrate an output voltage detect function for primary-side regulation / control systems. The APR34150 senses the MOSFET’s drain-to-source voltage, producing the necessary drive signals with a minimal number of external components. The internal N-channel MOSFET has been optimized for low gate charge, low RDS(ON), and fast switching speed with fast body diode reverse recovery performance. The APR34150 has been optimized for driving generic PSR controllers, whereas other APR34xxx have been optimized for Diodes PSR controllers.
