Tensility International now offers molding style DC power jacks and mating spring-contact plugs through Digi-Key. These jack and plug pairs are selected specifically for applications with strict continuity requirements, such as LEDs or sensitive electronics. The spring-contact plugs allow for a tighter, more accurate pairing, which ensures better, continuous power.
The 16 models have center pin diameters from 1.1 mm to 2.5 mm, and lengths from 16.5 mm to 23 mm. The rated current ranges up to 7 A, and rated voltage ranges up to 24 VDC. Operating temperatures for all models is -25 to 70°C. Insulator colors come in both white and black.
Tensility's high-current DC cable assemblies feature these molding connectors, and will work interchangeably.
