With industrial panels getting smaller over the past few years, control panels and other controls housed in NEMA-type boxes have migrated to smaller pre-installed holes including 22 mm holes. Mallory has served the market with its well-known SC and SCE series 30 mm panel mount alarms and has decided to expand its line with this new, smaller 22 mm cutout series. The ZA series combines high quality sound with dB levels 10-15 decibels louder than other product with the same size. The product features programmable micro-controller technology, used to control the sound generated by the alarm. This allows the product to get louder over time, speed up, slow down, automatically turn off after a set period, and produce multiple and unique warning sounds in the same package. The product also features UL/CSA approval, waterproof (NEMA 3R/4X/12; IP-66), and tamper proof.
