These switches and multiplexers, optimized for robustness and protection, and offer high performance in industry-leading small packages. The devices protect themselves and are typically used at the edges of the PCB where overvoltage issues are likely to occur.
ADG5412BF/ADG5413BF Bi-Directional Fault Protection Switches
Analog Devices ADG5412BF/ADG5413BF Bi-Directional Fault Protection Quad SPST Switches feature four independently controlled single-pole/single-throw (SPST) switches for bi-directional overvoltage protection up to −55V and +55V. The ADG5412BF consists of four switches that turn on with Logic 1 inputs, while the ADG5413BF includes two switches that turn on and two switches that turn off with Logic 1 inputs. When powered on, each switch conducts equally well in both directions and offers an input signal range that extends to the supplies. The digital inputs are compatible with 3V logic inputs over the full operating supply range. The low on resistance of 10Ω combined with 0.5Ω on-resistance flatness over a significant portion of the signal range make the ADG5412BF/ADG5413BF bi-directional fault protection switches ideally suited for data acquisition and gain switching applications where excellent linearity and low distortion are critical.Learn More
