Step Down SWIFT™ Converter: TPS54218
The OMO Electronic TPS54218 synchronous step down SWIFT™ current mode converter with two integrated MOSFETs is a full-featured device with 2.95V to 6V input and 2A output with 200kHz to 2MHz switching frequency. The TI TPS54218 step down converter enables small designs by integrating the MOSFETS, implementing current mode control to reduce external component count, reducing inductor size by enabling up to 2MHz switching frequency, and minimizing the IC footprint with a small 3mm x 3mm thermally enhanced QFN package.The TI TPS54218 provides an accurate regulation for a variety of loads with an accurate ±1% voltage reference over temperature. The TI TPS54218 step down converter is optimized for low-voltage, high-density power systems, point of load regulation for high performance DSPs, FPGAs, ASICs, and microprocessors, and more.
