MPQ5073 Load Switch
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ5073 Load Switch to designed to provide 2A load protection over voltages ranging from 0.5V to 5.5V. The MPQ5073 Load Switch features integrated a soft start function and programmable soft start time making the MPQ5073 highly efficient in handling sudden inrush of current during the circuit start-up. OCP and thermal shutdown features and output discharge capabilities offer added protection.The MPQ5073’s max load at the output (source) is current limited. This is accomplished by utilizing a sense FET topology. The Load Switch controls the magnitude of current limit through an external resistor from the ILIM pin to ground. An internal charge pump drives the gate of the power device, allowing a very low ON-Resistance DMOS power FET of just 50mΩ.The MPQ5073 is offered in a compact, space-saving QFN-12 package and is available with both Industrial and Automotive (AEC-Q100 Qualified) temperature range limits.Learn More
