The Microchip AT32UC3A3 AVR®32 UC 32-bit microcontroller (MCU) family is ideal for cost-sensitive embedded applications and features low power consumption, high code density, and high performance. The Microchip AT32UC3A3 MCU family is made for exceptionally high data throughput with hi-speed USB OTG, SD/SDIO card, and Multi-Level-Cell (MLC) NAND Flash with ECC and SDRAM interfaces. This Microchip MCU family is designed with the multi-layered AVR32 databus, 128 KB on-chip SRAM with triple high-speed interfaces, and a multi-channel peripheral and memory to memory DMA controller. The AT32UC3A3 MCU family also features a Hi-Fi stereo audio DAC and a full duplex multi-channel I2S audio interface.

AVR® 32-Bit UC3 Microcontrollers
Microchip 32-bit AVR® UC3 takes efficiency to a new level, going beyond high performance and low power consumption. Native fixed point DSP support, dual port SRAM, multi layer data bus, peripheral DMA controller, peripheral event system and intelligent peripherals move performance and power consumption to the next step. The peripheral DMA controller and multi-layer high-speed bus architecture make the UC3 microcontrollers ideal for high throughput applications. Intelligent peripherals and dynamic power control make UC3 devices the obvious choice for portable and battery-powered applications. Selected UC3 devices include an integrated Floating Point Unit (FPU) which improves arithmetic performance on decimal numbers, with better precision and wider dynamic range.
A3/A4-Series AT32UC3 AVR 32-Bit MCUs
Microchip Technology A3/A4-Series AT32UC3 AVR 32-Bit MCUs are designed for exceptionally high data throughput with Hi-Speed USB device and host, SD/SDIO card, Multi-Level-Cell (MLC) NAND flash with ECC and SDRAM interfaces. It is particularly well suited for applications like audio, biometric, communication, USB to SDcard bridges and USB dongles. With its multi-layered AVR® databus, 128 KB on-chip SRAM split into 3 banks for higher throughput, and multi-channel peripheral and memory-to-memory DMA controller, the A3/A4 offers outstanding data transfer rates. The device also features a 16-bit stereo Audio DAC and a full duplex multi-channel I2S audio interface. The A3/A4 series is available with an optional AES crypto module capable of 128 to 256-bit AES encryption at speeds of up to 22.8 Mbytes/s.
