Vishay Siliconix SiC4xx microBUCK™ Integrated Buck Regulators are a family of products that leverage Vishay's unique combination of discrete MOSFET design, IC expertise, and packaging capability to provide customers with cost-effective, high-performance integrated solutions. The resulting integrated solutions deliver a significant reduction in board space requirements. This benefits the designer by giving more space for critical system functionality. Typical applications include notebook, desktop, and server computers, digital HDTV, digital consumer applications, printers, DSL, and STB applications, embedded applications and point of load power supplies.

SiC402A/B & SiC417 10A Buck Regulators
Vishay/Siliconix SiC402A/B & SiC417 10A Buck Regulators are advanced stand-alone synchronous buck regulators with integrated power MOSFETs, bootstrap diode, and a programmable LDO. The SiC402A/B and SiC417 microBUCK™ regulators come in the PowerPAK MLP55-32L and MLPQ 5 x 5 32-pin packages respectively. These 10A regulators are capable of operating with all ceramic solutions and switching frequencies up to 1MHz. The programmable frequency, synchronous operation, and selectable power-save allow operation at high efficiency across the full range of load current. The internal LDO (SiC402A/B) may be used to supply 5V for the gate drive circuits or it may be bypassed with an external 5V for optimum efficiency.
