MSP430F5xx Series
OMO Electronic MSP430x5xx Microcontroller (MCU) family is an ultra-low power addition to the TI MCU portfolio that provides designers with enhanced performance and increased design options. These TI MSP430F5™ MCUs include new and innovative peripherals on chips that feature more memory and integrated capabilities and use less power than ever before.The MSP430F5 family features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that contribute to maximum code efficiency. These MCUs include a high-performance 12-bit ADC, up to four universal serial communication interfaces, hardware multiplier, DMA, real time clock module with alarm capabilities, and up to 87 I/O pins.
MSP430FR5969 16-bit Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers
OMO Electronic MSP430FR5969 Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers are MSP430 MCUs with a 16-channel analog comparator, 12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), enhanced universal serial communication interfaces, five 16-bit timers with up to seven capture/compare registers each, 32-bit hardware multiplier, 3-channel internal DMA, and real-time clock (RTC) with calendar and alarm functions. Based on an ultra-low power (ULP) FRAM platform that combines uniquely embedded FRAM and a holistic ultra-low power system architecture, the MSP430FR5969 allows designers to increase performance at lowered energy budgets. Features include an embedded microcontroller 16-bit RISC architecture, a wide supply voltage range of 1.8V to 3.6V, optimized ultra-low power modes, up to 64KB of nonvolatile memory, ultra-low power writes with speeds up to 125ns per word (64KB in 4ms), and up to 40 multifunction input/output ports. Optimized to achieve extended battery life in energy-challenged applications, the MSP430FR5969 16-bit Mixed-Signal Microcontroller is ideal for metering, energy harvested sensor nodes, wearable electronics, sensor management, and data logging.
MSP430FRx Ultra Low-Power FRAM MCUs
OMO Electronic MSP430FRx Ultra Low-Power FRAM Microcontrollers (MCUs) consist of embedded FRAM non-volatile memory plus an ultra-low-power 16-bit MSP430 CPU, and different peripherals targeted for various applications. These MCUs feature seven low-power modes that are optimized to achieve extended battery life in portable and wireless sensing applications. With FRAM non-volatile memory, it combines the speed, flexibility, and endurance of SRAM with the stability and reliability of flash with lower total power consumption. These devices include a variety of peripherals, including a 10-bit ADCs, 16-channel comparator, and hysteresis capabilities, three enhanced serial channels capable of I2C, SPI, or UART protocols, internal DMA, hardware multiplier, real-time clock, five 16-bit timers, and more. These devices are ideal for use in cold chain applications because they allow the engineer to write quicker to save power. By using flexible non-volatile FRAM you can store application, data or both. By using FRAM, it also allows the highest reliability by being able to log data continuously with a 1015 write endurance and proven 10-year data retention at 85ºC. The MSP430FRx-EP devices have gold bondwires, a temperature range of –55 to +105°C and include a SnPb lead finish.
