The FSL136MRT is an integrated Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller and SenseFET specifically designed for offline Switched-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with minimal external components. The PWM controller includes an integrated fixed-frequency oscillator, Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), Leading-Edge Blanking (LEB), optimized gate driver, internal soft-start, temperature-compensated precise current sources for loop compensation, and self-protection circuitry. Compared with a discrete MOSFET and PWM controller solution, the FSL136MRT can reduce total cost, component count, size, and weight; while simultaneously increasing efficiency, productivity, and system reliability. This device provides a basic platform suited for cost-effective design of a flyback converter.
Green Mode Power Switches
ON Semiconductor Green Mode Power Switches are highly integrated off-line power switches with a full avalanche rated SenseFET and current mode PWM IC. These switches offer advanced burst mode operation to meet low standby power regulations, reduce EMI emissions, simplify designs, and lower costs in target applications. Features include internal avalanche-rugged SenseFET, built-in soft-start, over-voltage protection (OVP) and under voltage lockout (UVLO). Applications include SMPS for VCR, SVR, STB, DVD and VCD player, printer, facsimile, scanners, and home appliances.Learn More
