C8051F98x / C8051F99x Microcontrollers
Silicon Labs C8051F98x and QuickSense™ C8051F99x microcontrollers (MCUs) are new additions to the low power C8051F9xx family. Silicon Labs C8051F99x MCUs combine the industry-leading low power technology of the C8051F9xx family with the fast and accurate capacitive sensing features of the QuickSense C8051F7xx / C8051F8xx families to address the fast-growing capacitive touch application market. The C8051F99x is available with up to 14 capacitive sensing inputs and is the industry's first MCU with a sub micro amp (<1 µA) wake on touch average current consumption. These Silicon Labs QuickSense MCUs provide easy and reliable support for capacitive buttons, sliders, wheels, and capacitive proximity sensing. Silicon Labs C8051F98x MCUs further expand the C8051F9xx product family to address smaller memory, lower power, more cost-sensitive MCU applications. The C8051F98x provides the lowest power in both sleep and active modes, making this MCU an optimal choice for small Flash size, low power applications.
