AP8802 60V 1A LED Step-Down Converter
Diodes Incorporated AP8802 60V 1A LED step-down converter is designed to drive LEDs with a constant current. Diodes Incorporated AP8802 60V 1A LED step-down converter can drive up to 13 LEDs in series from a voltage source of 8V to 60V. Series connection of the LEDs provides identical LED currents resulting in uniform brightness and eliminating the need for ballast resistors. The AP8802H switches at frequency up to 500kHz. This allows the use of small size external component, minimizing the PCB area needed. This Diodes Incorporated device is designed for a variety of lighting applications, including commercial and industrial, small LCD panel backlight, appliance interior, and architecture detail.
AP880xx LED Drivers
The Diodes Inc. AP880xx LED driver IC family significantly reduces the number and size of external components required by drive circuits. These Diodes Inc. step-down DC-DC converter LED drivers require only four smaller and lower cost inductors or capacitors. The AP880xx LED driver family ensures uniform LED brightness, eliminates the need for ballast resistors, and suits a broad range of high-brightness, general illumination duties, including signage, architectural and emergency lighting, and MR16 lamp replacement. Diodes Inc. AP880xx LED driver ICs drive up to 13 series-connected LEDs with a constant current, from voltage sources between 8V and 48V, with efficiencies up to 92%.
