Silent Switcher 2 Regulators
Linear Technology/Analog Devices Silent Switcher® 2 Regulators are compact, ultralow emission, high-speed synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulators designed for automotive and transportation applications. Developed using a second-generation Silent Switcher architecture, these regulators minimize EMI/EMC emissions while delivering highly efficient operation even at high switching frequencies. The design includes integrated bypass capacitors, a ground plane, copper pillars, and well-controlled switching edges to dramatically reduce EMI/EMC emissions. The regulators' selectable spread spectrum mode further improves EMI/EMC performance.
LT8640S-2 Step-Down Silent Switchers
Linear Technology / Analog Devices LT8640S-2 Step-Down Silent Switchers are synchronous regulators with Silent Switcher® architecture. These switchers are designed to minimize EMI emissions and deliver high-efficiency at high switching frequencies. The LT8640S-2 switchers offer peak current mode control with a 30ns minimum ON-time that allows high step-down ratios at high switching frequencies. These switchers also come with ultralow quiescent current Burst Mode® operation. Typical applications include general purpose step-down, automotive, and industrial supplies.
