Chip Select for the SD is not D8 but D4. This took me a long time to find out.The diode will ruin the battery and the RTC is not working.After removing the diode and using the correct CS it works fine and I got a partial refund.They keep on selling these devices with a production failure and it is a pity that the buyer is not informed about this issue
