Silicon-carbide (SiC) power stages enable voltage regulator designs to deliver continuous current per phase. SiC8x enables up to 80A per phase current. Internal power MOSFETs utilize TrenchFET® Gen IV technology that delivers industry benchmark performance to reduce switching and conduction losses. Siliconix Driver and MOSFET Module (DrMOS) SiC8x incorporates an advanced MOSFET gate driver IC that features high current driving capability, adaptive dead-time control, and integrated bootstrap switch, a thermal monitor that alerts the system of excessive junction temperature.
