The ’LV541A devices are octal buffers/drivers designed for 2-V to 5.5-V VCC operation. These devices are ideal for driving bus lines or buffer memory address registers. They feature inputs and outputs on opposite sides of the package to facilitate printed circuit board layout. The 3-state control gate is a two-input AND gate with active-low inputs so that if either output-enable (OE1\ or OE2\) input is high, all corresponding outputs are in the high-impedance state. The outputs provide noninverted data when they are not in the high-impedance state. To ensure the high-impedance state during power up or power down, OE\ should be tied to VCC through a pullup resistor; the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver. These devices are fully specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuitry disables the outputs, preventing damaging current backflow through the devices when they are powered down.

The LVT2244 and LVTH2244 are octal buffers and line drivers designed to be employed as memory address drivers, clock drivers and bus oriented transmitters or receivers which provides improved PC board density. The equivalent 25ohm-Series resistors helps reduce output overshoot and undershoot. The LVTH2244 data inputs include bushold, eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors to hold unused inputs. These octal buffers and line drivers are designed for low-voltage (3.3V) VCC applications, but with the capability to provide a TTL interface to a 5V environment. The LVT2244 and LVTH2244 are fabricated with an advanced BiCMOS technology to achieve high speed operation similar to 5V ABT while maintaining low power dissipation.
