Freescale's MC9S08QA4 device is part of the low-cost, low-power, high-performance HCS08 family of 8-bit MCUs. The device features up to 20MHz CPU at 3.6V to 1.8V, on-chip memory, two very low power stop modes, and more. The microcontroller is ideal for a range of applications including battery chargers, electronic power meters, handheld devices, home appliance, and lighting control.
