XR21B1421 USB HID to UART Bridge
MaxLinear XR21B1421 Enhanced 1-Ch Full-Speed USB HID to UART Bridge is an enhanced Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter (UART) bridge to HID class USB interface. The USB interface is USB 2.0 (Full-Speed) compliant, with a 12Mbps USB data transfer rate. The XR21B1421 also supports USB suspend, resume and remote wakeup operations.
XR21x14x Universal Async Receiver Transmitters
MaxLinear XR21x14x Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitters with USB 2.0 compliant bus interface are the industry's fastest UART series. The USB interface on the MaxLinear XR21x14x supports 12Mbps USB data transfer rate, USB suspend, resume, and remote wake-up operations. These MaxLinear UARTs operate from an internal 48MHz clock, requires no external crystal/oscillator, and can accurately generate any baud rate using the internal clock. The UART series includes an automatic transceiver direction control feature that simplifies the hardware for RS-485 applications. The XR21x14x UART is ideal for portable appliances, external converters (dongles), battery-operated devices, and more.
