Standard and Snubberless™ Triacs
STMicroelectronics Standard and Snubberless™ Triacs are available in through-hole or surface mount packages and are suitable for general purpose mains power AC switching. They can be used as an ON/OFF function for applications like static relays, heating regulation or induction motor starting circuit. The Snubberless versions are especially recommended for use on inductive loads, because of their high commutation performance.
