Silicon Labs CP2400, CP2401, CP2402, and CP2403 fixed function LCD controllers can be used for expanding GPIO, timekeeping, and increasing available system RAM by up to 256 bytes. Silicon Labs CP240x LCD drivers feature ultra-low power consumption in LCD and shutdown modes and support static, 2-mux, 3-mux, and 4-mux displays. These devices are controlled using direct and indirect internal registers accessible through the 4-wire SPI or 2-wire SMBus interface. All digital pins on the CP240x LCD controller are 5V tolerant.
