MAX15041 Step-Down DC/DC Regulator
Maxim Integrated's MAX15041 Step-Down DC/DC Regulator is a low-cost, synchronous DC-DC converter with an internal switch that delivers an output current up to 3A. Maxim Integrated's MAX 15041 Series Step-Down DC/DC Regulator operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V and features a peak-current-mode PWM controller with an internally fixed 350kHz switching frequency and a 90% maximum duty cycle. This synchronous buck regulator also features internal MOSFETs that provide better efficiency than asynchronous solutions, thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection (high-side sourcing and low-side sinking), an internal 5V LDO with undervoltage lockout, and more. In addition, Maxim Integrated's MAX 15041 regulator ensures safe startup when powering into a prebiased output.

Maxim Integrated EE-Sim® Design Generation and Simulation Tool lets you create and simulate circuits online. Based on your detailed input requirements, Maxim Integrated EE-Sim tool generates an interactive schematic complete with components you can adjust. EE-Sim features a highly efficient simulation engine. Each design iteration can be simulated in a few minutes. The resulting waveforms, such as Bode plots and voltage graphs, are available for analysis in the included waveform viewer.
