MCP1804 CMOS LDO Regulators
Microchip Technology MCP1804 CMOS low dropout (LDO) voltage regulators deliver up to 150mA of output current and support output voltages from 1.8V-18V. These Microchip Technology LDOs have stable input and output (0.1µF of input and output capacitance) and operate on a typical quiescent current of 50µA. A shutdown function on the MCP1804 allows the output to be disabled and drops the current to 0.01µA. The MCP1804 LDO voltage regulators provide designers a flexible means of dropping the voltage from existing high-voltage rails to power subsystem circuitry. This device family is well suited for a variety of industrial and consumer applications, including security systems, wireless communication systems, cordless phones, and home appliances.
