Vishay Semiconductors VRPower DrMOS Integrated Power Stages are optimized for synchronous buck applications to offer high current, high efficiency, and high power density performance. Packaged in Vishay's proprietary MLP package, SiC series power stages enable the voltage regulator designs to deliver continuous current per phase. The series incorporates an advanced MOSFET gate driver IC that features high current driving capability, adaptive dead-time control, integrated Schottky diode, and zero current detection to improve light load efficiency.
DrMOS SiC7 Series Integrated DrMOS Power Stages
Vishay DrMOS SiC7 Integrated Power Stages are an integrated power stage solution optimized for synchronous buck applications offering high current, high efficiency and high power density. The device complies with the Intel DrMOS standard for desktop and server Vcore power stages. The internal Power MOSFETs utilize Vishay's state-of-the-art TrenchFET Gen III technology that delivers industry bench-mark performance by significantly reducing switching and conduction losses. They incorporate an advanced MOSFET gate driver IC that features high current driving capability, adaptive dead-time control, an integrated bootstrap Schottky diode, and a thermal warning (THDN) that alerts the system of excessive junction temperature.
