P-3U-L Voice-DS1 SIDACtor Protection Thyristors
Littelfuse P-3U-L Balanced Voice-DS1 SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are designed to protect baseband equipment from overvoltage transients. The patented “Y” configuration ensures balanced overvoltage protection that prevents a longitudinal to differential conversion. The MS-013 components provide a single port surface mount solution that enables voice through DS-1 equipment to comply with various global regulatory standards. The P-3U-L parts can replace three discrete components. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The P-3U-L thyristors feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings. The components are RoHS compliant, lead-free, and meet UL/IEC 60950-1 creepage and clearance.
Baseband Voice DS1 SIDACtor Protection Thyristors
Littelfuse Baseband Voice DS1 SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors focus on addressing the performance and regulatory requirements of baseband telecommunications equipment such as voice, modems, and DS1. SIDACtor components are solid state crowbar devices designed to protect telecom equipment during hazardous transient conditions. Utilizing a patented ion implant technology, effective protection is ensured within nanoseconds. The components offer an overvoltage protection solution that helps applications comply with Telcordia GR-1089 Issue 4, ITU-T recommendations K.20, K.21, K.44, and K.45, and TIA-968-A.
SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors
Littelfuse SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are thyristor devices used to protect sensitive circuits from electrical disturbances caused by lightning-induced surges, inductive-coupled spikes, and AC power fault conditions. The unique structure and characteristics of the thyristor are used to create an overvoltage protection device with precise and repeatable turn-on characteristics with low voltage overshoot and high surge current capabilities. SIDACtor components are solid state crowbar devices with a patented ion implant technology that ensures effective protection within nanoseconds. Littelfuse SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors include a wide range of semiconductor protection thyristor over-voltage transient suppression devices designed to serve requirements of telecom and data networking equipment applications.
