AVR® 32-Bit UC3 Microcontrollers
Microchip 32-bit AVR® UC3 takes efficiency to a new level, going beyond high performance and low power consumption. Native fixed point DSP support, dual port SRAM, multi layer data bus, peripheral DMA controller, peripheral event system and intelligent peripherals move performance and power consumption to the next step. The peripheral DMA controller and multi-layer high-speed bus architecture make the UC3 microcontrollers ideal for high throughput applications. Intelligent peripherals and dynamic power control make UC3 devices the obvious choice for portable and battery-powered applications. Selected UC3 devices include an integrated Floating Point Unit (FPU) which improves arithmetic performance on decimal numbers, with better precision and wider dynamic range.
C-Series AT32UC3 AVR 32-Bit MCUs
Microchip Technology C-Series AT32UC3 AVR 32-Bit MCUs are designed for high-performance industrial and automotive control applications, including fast communication hubs and motor control. The series offers a rich set of arithmetical and analog features. Designed with the multi-layered databus, 68KB on-chip SRAM with dual interfaces, the UC3C offers an outstanding data throughput. The C series offers a single precision FPU that increases processing performance, precision and dynamic range in all math applications such as digital signal processing (DSP), sensor data acquisition, and audio. The C Series' mix of peripherals and high data throughput fit a wide range of applications, including industrial control, automotive control, power management, process automation, building automation, and communication gateways.
