SR4 Series Relays

TE Connectivity's SR4D/M is a four pole relay with force guided contacts. They are key elements of safety circuits and modules that are required for use for a variety of applications in industrial controls, railway signals and controls, elevator controls, medical equipment, and more. Force guided relays are designed according to standard EN50205, which relates to safety circuits that protect persons from injury or death. While this is a European standard, it is also the basis for other standards being implemented globally. SR4D/M is offered with two normally open and two normally closed contacts or three normally open and one normally closed contact. TE’s SR4D/M is smaller in size than the functional equivalent products from some competitors. This relay has PC board terminals. It has eight amp contacts, and is offered with a variety of 800 milliwatt DC coils. It meets the requirements for VDE and TUV, as well as UL for the US and Canada, and CCC.

Applications include: emergency shut off, press control, machine control, elevator and escalator control, and safety relays.
